Fresh Air & Sun is
Our Relief
In doing a bit of research of the
Influenza Outbreak of 1918, it was
discovered that patients who were
allowed to be administered to outside,
in the sunlight, were found to be faster
to recover from the flu epidemic.
That being said, the timeline we are
hoping to
see significant relief, from the latest
coronavirus
outbreak, is just around the corner.
Fresh air and
sunlight are a natural healer of sorts
to what ails
us all.
Fresh air is a natural disinfectant to
viruses.
Viruses are more potentially threatening
in cooler
and congested places, therefore the
fresh air and sunlight will naturally
reduce the spread of its
power and should possibly subside for a
time
period, that will allow for the testing
of a vaccine
that is being compiled for later use
this year.
The strength and ability for this virus
to spread
can be greatly controlled, if we all
follow the basic precautions that are
being announced.
-
- Wash Your
Hands Frequently
-
- Keep a safe
distance from others (3 feet)
-
- When going
about your day minimize the
touching of your face, handrails, shopping
carts, touch screens like ATM, self checkouts,
and doorknobs and door handles.
-
- It is
impossible to do everything without
touching, but we can avoid handshakes, high
fives, etc.
-
- Coughing and
sneezing in public will draw
negative attention to you, so cover your mouth
and nose before doing these things.
-
Basically,
just be mindful of the protection of
spreading your germs as well as protecting
yourself from the spread of other people’s
germs also.
This
outbreak is being monitored very well
and
we will survive it with patience, persistence,
protection, and a positive non-panicked approach.
Please do not allow the conversations of
these current lifestyle adjustments to
fall on the ears of
small children. They are very attentive
to our conversations and can suffer in
silence from fear that they pick up from
our conversations.
I also would suggest travel, if you have
the opportunity, to be in a vacation
mode, to be
done in warmer climate areas where you
can be outside and feel the warmth of
the sun. This will
do two things at the same time, reduce
stress
and allow for a time of healing for all
of us.
Say your prayers, pray for our president
and all
those people involved with monitoring and administering healthcare to
those in need.
We will survive and flourish soon,
please be safe and cautious until then.
